Ticketing: All details on how to order tickets are available from the Cialis Western Open website ticket page. Daily tickets include parking and cost $20 (practice day), $37 (tournament day in advance) or $40 (tournament day at the gate). A weekly pass with parking costs $100.

Road connections: The Cog Hill G&CC is located in southwest Chicago, off routes 83/171 and best reached from the I-55. The club's website has detailed directions and a map.
Rail/Bus: Lemont is on a direct rail line to Chicago's Union Station (you want the Heritage Corridor Line of the Metra service). The journey takes about 40 minutes.
Air: Chicago's O'Hare International is about 25 miles to the North (30 minutes by car). Midway International is about 15 miles away in a similar direction, and handles largely domestic US flights.

Accommodation and facilities: You'll find official Chicago accommodation listings here. (You can search by location.) The Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce also has hotel and motel listings for the village and nearby towns. Cog Hill Country Club is on the border with DuPage County, which also has lodging information.

Local sights and sounds: The Village of Lemont home page has a visitor's guide with a shopping/dining guide and a list of area attractions, which includes several golf clubs. If you want to find your way around the sights and sounds of Chicago, try the city's Visitor and Convention Bureau.

Tournaments before and after: US Women's Open / Buick Championship ... John Deere Classic

Location and event tips: There are pro-am tournaments on the Monday and Wednesday, and the tournament takes place on the number 4 "Dubsdread" course. Let me know if you have any more tips.
