Ticketing: As with all such events, there are various packages available for sale. A basic 7-day pass cost $130 in 2006, while daily tickets sold for between $25 and $40. The Wachovia Championship sells out fast: tickets for 2007 go on sale in November and you can pre-register your interest. See the official website for details.

Road connections: Quail Hollow is about 10 miles south of downtown Charlotte, just a mile or two from the 485 ring road. For details of where to park and shuttle services to the event, see this page.
Bus: Numerous public bus routes pass near the country club. Check the transit website and look for routes 45X, 66X, 19 and 20.
Air: Charlotte Douglas International is a mere 14 miles to the northwest of the tournament, and has hundreds of daily flights to US and international cities.

Accommodation and facilities: The local tourist bureau has an accommodations directory, and the Chamber of Commerce has names and phone numbers of all member hotels in the area.

Local sights and sounds: In addition to the standard guide provided by the Convention and Visitors Bureau, there's an online visitor's guide offered by the Charlotte Observer. Take an historic walking tour of the city, for example, or catch a ball game.
