Reno-Tahoe Open

Location: Montreaux Golf and Country Club, 16475 Bordeaux Drive, Reno, Nevada 89511, USA.

Ticketing: Tickets to the Reno-Tahoe Open are relatively cheap because of competition from the Bridgestone Invitational, which takes place at the same time. You'll find an online order form link at the bottom of this page, where a daily ticket costs $15 and a weekly pass $60.

Road connections: The event is located almost exactly halfway between Lake Tahoe and Reno, just off Highway 431. The country club's website has a map and driving directions from key locations.
Air: The closest airport is Reno/Tahoe International, which is well-served by various domestic airlines. It's in south Reno, about 14 miles away by car.

Accommodation and facilities: The local tourism site for surrounding Washoe County has accommodation listings for the area (note that downtown Reno and the northern Lake Tahoe area are both just a short drive away from the tournament site).

Local sights and sounds: The delights of Reno and Tahoe are amply covered by the county tourist guide. Also visit Reno.com and Tahoe.com. The event catches the tail end of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, offering performances of Othello and Twelth Night in 2006.
