Ticketing: PGA Championship tickets went on sale officially on May 3rd, 2005. See the official site for more information. As of March 2006, there were still tickets available. During the tournament itself, a daily ticket costs between $95 and $120, but you can get a week's pass for $300.
Road: The site is about 25 miles west of downtown Chicago, about a mile west of where the 355 and 290 merge. The Medinah CC site has driving instructions and a map.
Rail: There's a MetraRail link to Medinah from all points in Chicago (look for the Milwaukee District West line).
Air: O'Hare International (ORD) is some 8 miles to the east and Midway International (MDW) is about 32 miles by road to the south and east.
Accommodation and facilities: Medinah is in Dupage county, so check out their tourist lodging listings here. For Chicago itself, try the Convention and Tourism Bureau's listings, and look for accommodation in the O'Hare area or to the west.
Local sights and sounds: Chicago offers many a treat, and the tourism site also points you to areas to the west, where Medinah lies.
