Ticketing: At the time of writing (March 2006), ticket information was limited to price details, which you can find on this official page. That page also has contact info and should eventually have details of where to get the actual tickets. For the record, a ticket for any single day from Wednesday to Sunday costs $24 if bought in advance. A weekly grounds-only pass is $95.

Road connections: Silvis is part of the Quad Cities area, on the Illinois side, reachable through the I-88, I-70 and I-84. Once you get into the area, see this page for driving directions, tournament parking locations and shuttle services. You'll need to buy a pass for the official parking sections (you can do this online, too, once online ordering is available).
Rail/Bus: MetroLINK buses get you around the Illinois side of the Quad cities (Route 50 is your best bet to get closest to the TPC).
Air: The local airport is almost within walking distance, and offers connecting flights to Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Minneapolis, Peoria, and St.Louis.

Accommodation and facilities: Your first stop should be the local Convention and Visitors Bureau Website. This has an area map with lodgings listed on it, plus an accommodation directory and service.

Local sights and sounds: The above visitor website also has all the info you need on the attractions offered in the area, which spans Illinois and Iowa and rests on the banks of the great Mississippi River. Consider a luxury cruise on the Celebration Belle, for example. The world HQ of John Deere is just up the road from the tournament, and you can visit the John Deere Pavilion and Store in nearby Moline.
