The Honda Classic

Dates: Monday, February 26th to Sunday, March 4th, 2007.

Location: PGA National Resort & Spa, 400 Avenue of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418, USA. Tel: 800.633.9150.

Ticketing: You can get Honda Classic tickets online or by phone and fax; see this PGA Tour page for details, though it may not yet be updated for 2007. A weekly pass in 2006 cost between $60 and $70, depending on how early you bought one. Daily passes were (advance / gate) $15 / $20 for Wednesday, $20 / $30 for Thursday or Friday, $25 / $35 for Saturday, and $30 / $40 for Sunday.

Road connections: The PGA National is in Palm Beach Gardens, about 80 miles north of Miami. It's a little southwest of the intersection of the PGA Boulevard and the Florida Turnpike, reached via the Interstate 95.
Air: The nearest airport to the Honda Classic is Palm Beach International, which is served by various national and international airlines. It's just 16 miles further south of the tournament site, along Interstate 95. The larger Miami International is just over 80 miles to the south of PGA National, again along Interstate 95.

Accommodation and facilities: The Palm Beach Country Convention and Visitors Bureau has accommodation listings for the local county, including a section for Palm Beach Gardens itself.

Local sights and sounds: For info on Palm Beach attractions, check this tourism guide. To the east you'll find Lake Okeechobee, with its hiking, fishing and boating opportunities.

Tournaments before and after: Accenture Match Play Championship ... Tampa Bay Championship.
