Road connections: Duluth is northeast of Atlanta, about 20 miles from the downtown area. The TPC at Sugarloaf is best reached off Interstate 85. The tournament has various color-coded parking lots, of which two are free with a shuttle bus service. Full details and driving directions are here.
Air: The nearest commercial airport is the world's busiest passenger facility at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, so flights should not be a problem. The airport is about 40 miles away, further down the I-85 on the opposite side of the city.

Accommodation and facilities: Atlanta.com offers hotel listings. Skip the regional map and use the search form; enter Duluth for local accommodation. There's a similar service at Atlanta.net - this time use the map and click on Perimeter Northeast.

Local sights and sounds: Atlanta.com has its own minisite for golfers, if you want to play as well as watch. For general Atlanta tourist info, try this page. During the tournament, there's normally something good playing at the New American Shakespeare Tavern.

Tournaments before and after: THE PLAYERS Championship ... The Colonial Invitational.
