Angelo V. of Michigan says:
"No doubt he is one of the greatest golfers of all time, however out of respect to the other golfers, when the media is covering a golfing event and Tiger is in the field, they should not solely be concerned with Tiger regardless of whether he's doing good or not. Give the stage to the leaders. After all it's the PGA Tour and not the Tiger Tour!!!"

Chris Shaw (17) Rugby, UK writes:
"What is everyone on about, it's obvious you're changing your swing for the long term. Look at what Nicky Faldo did. He won several European tour events, and he changed his swing and it took two seasons for him to win. But he won 5 majors in five years. You still manage to bag top 5 finishes every tournament you play in (now that's "class is permanent"). I think you'll win the Masters and The Open at St.Andrews in '05. You'll win 7 tournaments, the money list and be the world No.1 by Autumn '05. I'm your biggest fan, and I'd love to meet you and watch you play on the range."

Ian from York, UK says:
"Come on Tiger. Bury the hatchet and ask Butch Harman to cast an eye over the swing, get it back on track and put the relative failures of the last couple of years behind you."

Just an old guy from Pennsylvania writes:
"OK, Tiger, I for one know what the problem is. There is no problem. Well, you haven't won in a while. So what? Fans are fickle. They, along with the sportwriters and commentators, think they know everything. Look young man, just keep working. Winning comes with preparation and though some won't admit it, LUCK! You have so much pride, which I admire, so your Father, your Mother and you will never complain, but it will probably take you a little bit longer to actually get over the knee injury from years ago. It is quite an adjustment when you use your lower torso for golf. One suggestion though, I watched you, as I always do, play when you hurt your back, how you had to back off when they overly agressive swing, pretty good results Tiger, pretty good results. You have the best all around game out there. JUST A THOUGHT!"

Ed Sailer from New Jersey says:
"I believe Tiger Woods is probably the best Pro Golfer since Jack Nicklaus, but right now he is struggleing. Why, no one seems to know. I think he owes it to his loyal fans to come clean. Is he in a slump or experimenting with new clubs and or a new swing or trying to control the ball flight through a new system that he is developing----what is it? He appears to be avoiding the real problem that is affecting his winning. Just tell us the truth and I for one will be behind whatever he is doing to become the greatest ever."

Cindy Callahan from Barrington, NH writes:
"Tiger, you can do this!!! I really wish you would not try out new equipment every year and then trying to learn how to use it to meet your needs. Find one set you like and go with that - even if you have to go backwards and use the clubs you used to use when you became a pro and won so many tournaments. You can win this. Think, take your time. You are the best out there and you can win this tournament and every tournament after this. You have proved yourself, now all you have to is keep up the momentum.

If you win the car, how about sending it to me, I really could use one. :) I need you to win this tournament. I spend 4 days of every week that you play watching you from my bed on the TV hanging on my wall. I'd give my life to be able to walk and do the things you do. I know your life is very busy with your foundation and your shows and other things you do but I know this is important to you too - because of the way you react.

I am always rooting for you, so please win this one for the gimp!! :-) I need you to win and after today, methodically beat everyone in front of you and behind you because you are the absolute best. But do me one favor please - do not wear red on Sundays. At one time, it was your classic color - like on my framed picture of you that I got for my birthday last year along with 2 tickets which I had to give away (Norton, MA) which broke my heart.

Red has become your bad luck color lately. You look dynamite in light colors and you certainly are the best dressed player on the course. Try a new color on Sundays and leave the red in the closet. You are a handsome man, with the perfect body, perfect form, perfect shape and perfectly coordinating clothing. Red is not your winning color anymore, so trash it, okay??

I've been meaning to tell you that and finally did a search to find an email address that Ican send a note to you. If I could, I'd call you. But I found this site and I can only hope that you get a chance to read it and it does reach you. Do this one for Cindy, who's been following you even before you became a pro. Trash the red, it's bad luck now. I know you can do this - and I also know that I'm a nobody but when you hit that ball, I know where it's going to go and that's not always where you want it to be. So take your time, think, study, watch your speed, get used to these new clubs, etc.

And win this one for me. I need you to win. I certainly watch golf every single weekend but prefer it when you're playing. When you play I want you to win. This Buick Open is one you definitely can win, so please on Saturday and Sunday this weekend, take your time, don't rush and methodically think about the hole you are on, beat it, beat everyone of them and win this tournament. I know you can do it and you know you can do it, so for a woman who can hardly move, who could never do what you do, could never move that way or I'd die doing it, and even as a disabled person could never, ever learn to play golf, I certainly could enjoy it - but right now, you could win this tournament, so please focus and win this one for me if not for yourself.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding (what a shame!!) But after this second round, you are so close that it would be a real shame if you didn't pull it off. I know you can do it, your caddy knows you can do it, you know you could do it, so spend the next two days doing exactly that - winning and leave the red in your closet. Good luck and hope all this works!!!"

(Editor's note: almost worked. Cindy, I think you can also reach Tiger Woods directly by visiting TigerWoods.com and joining the membership club)

Nene says:
"This is a response to the comment about Tiger taking advice from Adam Scott. I just want to say that this is completely ridiculous since Adam Scott works with Butch Harmon to, admittedly, mirror Tiger's exact swing. Why would Tiger take advice from someone who tries to do everything he does? Adam Scott has no business even being considered in the same league as Tiger, let alone, giving him some advice. Please. I mean, I love Tiger too but I swing like myself. I don't go out and try to be someone else."

Virginia from Virginia writes:
"As an advanced practice nurse I have concerns about Tiger's eyesight. If I recall correctly, he had laser corrective surgery. I am aware that sometimes after this procedure distortions can occur. So I can't help but wonder if there is a connection btween this surgery and his recent difficulties with his game."

Great Granny Gini O' says:
"Tiger, you are my hero on the golf course -- the greatest of all times. Keep smiling and I wish you would wear "red" every day. I'm nearly 80 and I'm in love with you!!!"

Mantan from Imperial Beach, Ca writes:
"It seems that the general public high expectation of Tiger's performance brings to bear a level of stress that affects his game. I just hope that he does not give in to taking some prescribed drugs stress. "Tiger be yourself, you will rise above the current downturn in your playing, and continue being the best you can be". You are good for golf and the young people both domestic and international. We are counting on you."

A visitor asks:
"Why do we not see Tiger's mother and father at the tournaments now? They were such a big part of his victories in the past. Are they well?"

Bob Glaudel from California says:
"Tiger may well be the greatest golfer of all time, but an entire career needs to be looked at first. Great athletes go through down times, and Tiger is in one. His wildness off the tee is resulting in difficult 2nd shots, and his lack of wins recently reflect this. He is a great scrambler around the greens and makes a lot of clutch putts, and that is keeping him from being even farther back in tournaments. He will be back, and still may break Nicklaus's record of major title wins. However, if he continues to let the media pressure and his own standard of excellence, which seems to approach an air of arrogance, affect him, he may never get back to his top game and will not be considered the best ever."

Maggie from Kansas writes:
"Tiger, you need some help with your golf swing. There are some ads running that say, "If you are having some problems with your golf swing head to the nearest golf professional". I want to see you as awesome as you were a few years ago. I will never forget the picture of you walking off the 18th green at the Masters to greet and hug you father. GO GO TIGER."

ADB from New Mexico says:
"I see a big improvement - keep going the way you are, it is the right direction.Nice to see you playing great again. Love to watch you play."

Vern H. writes:
"His talent is one thing, but his focus on the course and the way he is able to zero in on the task at hand is what is truly amazing."

John H. from Oklahoma says:
"I am not a fair weather golf fan. Even though Tiger is down now he is still my favorite. I don't know anyone more deserving to win the Masters than Phil Mickelson. If he keeps playing the way he played there he will be hard to beat."

A visitor writes:
"Adam Scott is a very good golfer, but how fickle can you people be? He hasn't done near what Tiger has and it is like we have all forgotten what Tiger has done for the game. Give me a break. To say Tiger should take advice from Adam (Scott) - it's insulting. Tiger I still think you are the greatest to play the game and the cutest! If you all just want to watch cute guys, try tennis!"

Patrick O from Milton Mass says:
"I am only 9 years old and if it weren't for Tiger I wouldn't love golf so much. He sets goals real high and then achieves them. He doesn't only focus on golf - he focused on school and always on people too. I hope I can meet him someday!"
