COMMENTS FROM 2005:
Larnie Merrick from Australia
says:
"I am Australian and I think Karrie is this best sports person we have ever
produced. She has the best game, she is very confident, she does not brag about herself, she has achieved alot in the years that she has been playing.
When she first hit the scene I was just over the moon. I just wanted to be like her and to this day I still do only because she has a huge heart and also she has accompished so much in little time.
She is number 1 in my eyes and she always will be. I am proud to say that I'm Australian. One day I hope to be playing alongside Karrie and when that day comes I will just be over the moon. It will be the best day of my life. I've worked at the Australian Ladies Masters every year for the last 4 and yet still haven't met her, but one day I will."

She's an inspiration to me when I golf. I think she's a great person and has lots to give.
Sharon in Boise
says:
"I had the pleasure of scoring for Karrie's group this year. This is one girl who endured many personal changes in a short period of time. She is one intense competitor...I think Karrie will be back on top by next year, and my gut tells me she will be better than ever. Look out LPGA..."
Mary Kate from Kansas City writes:
"She has so much determination and passion for the game. I have looked up to her for as long as I can remember and I have always wanted to be like her.
She has a great sense of confidence about her game, even when she isn't playing well. She loves the game more than anyone I have ever seen. She finished the 2001 U.S. Open even though her Grandmother had passed away the night after the 3rd round. And she won. She won it for her Grandfather as her Grandmother told her to during the 1st round. That is the kind of passion that I look up to."
