COMMENTS FROM 2005:
Lanny Raymond from Cave Creek, AZ wrote such a wonderful comment in February 2005 that I gave it its own special page - Behind the scenes with Tom Lehman.
Benedict in Ireland writes:
"Tom, if you wish to return from Ireland with the Ryder Cup, then
John Daly has to be one of your picks. Don't make the same stupid mistake
everyone else has."
Steven B. from N.C.
says:
"I got a chance to shake Tom Lehman's hand at the PGA event in Greensboro last year. What a first class man. The way he carries himself is top notch. I'm glad he's our Ryder Cup Captain. I think he'll restore it to a classier level, instead of the Friday night football atmosphere it seems to have become."
Tom Lehmann from Reynoldsburg,
Ohio writes:
"I never really had an interest to play golf until I saw Tom Lehman listed on the leaderboard on the Ben Hogan tour. Since we share the same name, it kind of sparked an interest.
I have followed him through his ups and downs since then. He has always carried himself
with class no matter what. He is an awesome choice to be captain of the
Ryder Cup team. I would love the opportunity to meet him someday.
Hopefully this year when he comes here for the Memorial Tournament."
COMMENTS FROM 2004:
David H. from Baltimore says:
"I have known Tom since his amateur days. What you see is really what you get. He is a class act and truly tries to put out his best effort at all times."
Mike Zaccardi from Ponte Vedra Beach writes:
"I am 16 and Tom is my favorite golfer because the way he lives his life. He puts God first, family second, other people third. He is one of my biggest role models and the 4 best days of the year are watching him, in person, at The Players Championship."
COMMENTS FROM 2003:
Ed Hodges (AHS 1977) says:
"Tom and I were both born in the same small Minnesota town (Austin) about 45 days apart. I've often wondered if we knew
each other as children.
Oh and Tom's a great golfer......"
Ernie E. from Ohio writes:
"(I like him because of...) the way he plays the game, and his belief in Jesus Christ; his integrity and character make it a joy to watch him."
