COMMENTS FROM 2004:

Lee H from Portland, Oregon says:
"I met Matt several years ago at a company outing and was impressed from the first hello. He appeared to be very well grounded and a real gentleman.

Since that first meeting, my first action every Monday morning has been to see how he finished. 2004 has been a disappointment and I have had almost no luck learning what is going on in Matt's life. Has he been injured or ill?

Has business pushed his golf career aside? Will he earn enough to keep his tour card? If someone can give me an update, I would really appreciate it.

I am a big fan and I want the best for him, and I hope we get to see more of him on the course in 2005."

L.S. Reno, NV writes:
"Met Matt today. He's out here playing in the Reno-Tahoe Open. He's staying at the hotel that I am the sales manager for, and being an Atlanta native, I recognized him immediately. I introduced myself and he actually called me "Sir". A real gentleman. I hope he wins!"

Evelyn from Arizona says:
"I have been following Matt's career for several years. I am keeping a scrapbook all about him. I am probably his oldest fan. 82. I love his Christian ways and his charisma."

Rhi from Covington, Georgia writes:
"Wow! Need I say more? He is absolutely gorgeous, with a classic smile. I just got a job working with Precept's Marketing Department and his face is everywhere. Magazines with Matt galore! He seems so down to earth, and like the nicest, humble, Christian guy. Best of luck to you with your career, Matt! And hopefully one day I'll get to see you on Tour. God Bless!"

COMMENTS FROM 2003:

Gretchen from Gresham, OR says:
"Matt Kuchar radiates with joy when he plays golf. I adopted him on the spot when I saw him on TV in the 1998 Open. It is largely because of his enthusiasm that I found happiness on the golf course. As I've followed his career, I learned that this radiance does not simply come from the joy of the game, but from the joy he takes in his faith. Best of luck Matt! Keep smiling!"

A visitor writes:
"I had the pleasure of meeting him at the John Deere Classic two years ago. I also saw him at the Janet Jackson concert event during the open. All I can say is that he is always happy and smiling. I love the positive vibe that he exhibits both on and off the course. I hope he is coming back this September!"

Erica from Marysville, California writes:
"Matt Kuchar is seriously one of the nicest guys on the PGA Tour, and one of the cutest! I had the pleasure of seeing him at The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and he totally went out his way to please his fans! He's such a cutie. Well, after he finished his round on Saturday... I yelled out "MATT!" and he looked at me and smiled... then walked into the tent to sign his scorecard. I thought that he wouldn't come back and then like 3 minutes later he comes out towards me and signs my program! I was so happy! He's so nice, not like other mean golfers! If you're reading this Matt, I love ya! hehe... and you know who I am that girl that couldn't speak when you came up to me! hehe.. oh and I love your accent!"

COMMENTS FROM 2002:

Andrea from North Dakota says:
"I saw him at the PGA Championship at Hazeltine...even though his round was not going the greatest on Friday, he still kept his head up and grinded. Never once did I see him show anger or frustration. In fact I saw that trademark smile and a few laughs in the 15 holes that I got to watch."

Laura from St. Paul writes:
"When I saw Matt at the PGA championship in MN, he had such a great personality and a wonderful smile! He definitely grabs your attention!"

Heather Gramson from Portland, OR tells us:
"His smile just grabs you and doesn't let go. I watched him at the Fred Meyer Challenge in Aloha, Oregon, for the first time and was an instant fan!!"

Amy H. from North Carolina writes:
"I watched him play recently at the Fred Meyer Open in Oregon and what a friendly, outgoing, personable guy he is. He was so approachable. He certainly deserves the good publicity he gets!"

A visitor writes:
"He's adorable and has a great personality ... who can resist someone that looks so happy all the time?"

And another visitor says simply:
"Kuch in the house!"
