Ron Franke from Fort Wayne says:
"I would like to thank you for your visit to our Troops in the middle east. I just wish there was somebody like you when I was in Vietnam. I would have gave anything for one of your golf clubs. Thank you for doing something for our GI's. From a old Vietnam Vet. Good luck!!" (January, 2007)

Cathy from Chicago writes:
"Followed him during the PGA championship. He was friendly to the crowd and actually seemed to be enjoying himself. Then he signed a ball and handed it to my 2 year old son. Made both of our days!! Thanks Jerry!!!" (Aug 23, 2006)

Floyd from Colorado says:
"It was a pleasure watching Jerry play golf in Madison, WI on TV. Having fun playing the game, smiling when you miss a putt, enjoying every minute of it. The kind of guy I'd love to play a round with - but, you'd have to spot me 30 strokes . . ." (July 31, 2006)

COMMENTS FROM 2005:

A visitor writes:
"I met Jerry at Dublin Airport when he was on his way home from the 2005 British Open at St Andrews, Scotland. We had a brief conversation in the bus taking us from the Holiday Inn to the airport terminal.

Jerry was such a nice guy and even though he didn't make the cut he seemed to have enjoyed his time. I wish more US golfers would take the time to come over here and try some 'real' golf in Europe.

Anyway he gave me his autograph and I'm going to follow his career with great interest from here on. Glad to see he did quite well in Milwaukee."

Jon from Breckenridge says:
"He is an old freind from CT., and truly a great guy. Peace, your dear friend Johnny Mo, and keep up the good work! Say hi to the fam. !!!!"

M. May from Leesburg, GA writes:
"My 9 year old son and I were at Augusta, Thursday right behind number 1 green. As Jerry walked to the number 2 tee he tossed my son a ball. He actually took the time to find a youngster in the crowd...needless to say he made his day. Thanks Jerry."

COMMENTS FROM 2004:

Brin Merdith from Wales says:
"I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry back in 2002 at the OPEN in Scotland. The next time I saw him was at Royal St George's in 2003 and to my surprise he remembered me and my name. Sad to see him leave so soon. My luck was in again this year at Royal Troon when we saw one another - it was like seeing a long lost friend. Not only have I now got a couple of great photographs but a treasured autographed cap. I now look forward to St. Andrews 2005 when I have the pleasure to see one of the great ambassaders of the game and a friend. Keep well and stay well."

A visitor writes:
"Just because you couldn't score near par on Sunday at the US Open doesn't mean you weren't playing golf, nor was the course unfair. You guys have it so easy the rest of the year on tour. Perfect greens, perfect fairways, level tee boxes, tuned equipment, etc. So what if you have to grind it out on day 4; the object of the game is to hit the ball, find the ball, and repeat until you get it in the hole, not have somebody hand you a perfect course so you shoot sub-par everytime."

LC Louis from Denver says:
"Jerry is a class act. I saw him this past weekend at the US Open. He is a talented golfer and a great person."

Eric Mueller from Michigan writes (after the US Open):
"Week in, week out fans watch you guys dismantle the typical golf course, but when conditions get tough, the guys (you) start complaining that somehow the game is being done a disservice. Wrong... I'll bet that about the time you're hoisting a trophy, you won't be crying about unfair playing conditions."

A visitor says:
"I was a Marshal at the Accenture Matchplay Championships. Jerry was wonderful to us and all the fans. I think he is the friendliest player in golf."

John from Salt Lake writes:
"A true competitor! We need him on this year's Ryder Cup Team."
