COMMENTS FROM 2004:
A fan writes:
"Brad Faxon is my favorite tour player. Not because of the way he hits the ball,
but because of the way he conducts himself on the course. Best of Luck Brad!"
After Faxon commented thus about David Duval's return at the 2004 US Open, "very surprised Duval is coming out here, and that this is not the place where you want to hit a lot of errant shots", a visitor takes exception and points out that he ranks 113 in driving accuracy himself.

"I've been a Brad Faxon fan since I started golfing in 1996. It was the year my younger brother died in an accident, and a friend got me to take up golf. It saved my life. Watching golf I saw Brad, who acted and looked so much like my brother. As the years progressed, I came to respect and admire Brad for the gentle, dignified manner in which he plays. He's a regular guy who isn't all caught up with himself. Any interview he gives is interesting and so honest. With that voice, someday he'll make a great announcer. Brad is so unpredictable, I never know where he'll finish in a game, but he scrapes back toward the top. He gives us "duffers" hope, with his spirit and determination. If he isn't playing on the weekend, I kind of lose interest. In this house "you da man, Brad!""
Ed Golec, Harwinton,
CT, says:
"Brad is one of the nicest guys on the PGA Tour. He is a gentleman and fine player with quiet good manners and sportsmanship that places him above most of the others playing professional golf. Many of the young players on the tour couldn't find a better role model than Brad, and some of the veterans too. Spectators and marshals I have talked to at several tournaments I have seen Brad play in all agree with me. I wish him continued success."

"I saw Brad at the g.g.o and he was gorgeous. TV does not do him justice.
Also he is one of the most consistant players around"
