"Enjoyed the great time when you were in Mcallen, with our friend Carlos

divorced."

A visitor asks:
"His swing from his book is excellent (the one he and Mercer worked on), but I don't think his switch to changing his swing to the Golfing Machine technique is a good idea. What are your thoughts?"
Andrew R. from TX
says:
"Plain and simple, Steve Elkington's golf swing changed my life. I first saw
him in person at the 1992 LA Open. I then spent the next 5 years watching him swing a golf
club. I went to tournaments he played in, both local and remote. I traveled to
Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Scotland, and all the tour stops in California. I could
not take my eyes off that swing of his.
I read his book and learned so much more about how to REALLY swing the club. I'd played some of the "cool" sports :-) in high school, but didn't pick up golf until I was 30. I've walked 18 holes with Steve about one hundred times. I wish my legs could take it, because I'd do it all again if I could. His swing is one of the most beautiful athletic movements there is... irrespective of which game/sport is being discussed. I had the pleasure of talking w/ his boyhood coach, Alex Mercer, and he stated that their intent is to make Steve's movements Efficient.
I just wish his health could have been better, then Tom Weiskopf's prediction in 1990 that Steve "would be the player of the 1990's" would have come true. Best of Luck, Steve... if you see this. Thanks for all the wonderful time."

David Powell from San

"I haven't always been the biggest golf fan but I have really taken a huge interest since I married Steve's niece. you always hear about his great swing but I can tell you from personal experience that he is one of the nicest and most entertaining people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. So all I have to say is keep it up
Steve, and thanks for the new hobby."
Jim McIver of Friendswood, Texas
says:
"Several reasons I've always admired and enjoyed Steve ..as a golfer and as a
person.. one, he's always had one of the best swings you'd ever see..two, I've had the pleasure of being around him and he's always been a gentleman and I've continued to follow his career. Even through a lot of difficulties, health wise, he's continued to maintain a positive attitude.
Personally, I believe if Steve is healthy he can beat any golfer around, including Tiger, all he has to do is get that darn putter working!! GREAT TO SEE HIM BACK and I have this feeling he's getting ready to show the tour he is more than just back ..he's ready to win too!!"
